But will there be an “F” version?

Doubtful. This company seems to have an aversion to making cars that have horsepower.

The only thing I really like about this is the fact that the V8 is naturally aspirated.

It’s so lame that it makes like 467hp tho. This is our $92k performance flagship and it’s gonna have trouble outrunning mustangs. It only makes like 40hp more than the top of the line XTS. Which is both hilarious and stupid.

Whatchutalkinbout?! Lexus has a naturally aspirated 5.0 that makes more power than Chrysler’s 5.7, Nissan’s 5.6, Hyundai’s 5.0, Ford’s 5.0, and GM’s 6.2 and now have a TTV6 that smashes Ford’s 2.7, Nissan’s 3.0T, Hyundai’s 3.3T, and is in line with GM’s 3.6T.
Lexus is throwing down hard just below the boosted V8 and track attack 6-Cyl/V8 game!

yes, because someone shopping for a 92K GT car is going to care what the frat boy in the mustang can do...

It probably really doesn’t matter, because the demographic that they’re selling this car to probably doesn’t care. Most people who can afford that car wouldn’t cross shop a mustang, and if they wanted the mustang cause they had one when they were young, they’d just get it. That said, you can get a C63S for about the same price, that’s really the car it has to beat.

Well the GS-F and RC-F have the same motor and power. Those are full blown performance oriented cars that I’ve seen M bros and Audi bros look at, yet not buy because 467 is not nearly enough power in the segment these days. The GS-F competes with the CTS-v, which has over 150hp more. Hell, the biggest complaint LX customers have is “not enough power.” This isn’t armchair speculation either, this is actual, real life conversations with customers.

Lame enough to be as quick as a 650i, but a better interior. Anyone can sell a car for less that’s faster.
